GeorgiaCares SHIP
GeorgiaCares is the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) and is a trusted source for Medicare information. Our volunteer-based program provides free and unbiased information to assist beneficiaries and their caregivers on Medicare, Medicaid and other related health insurance. GeorgiaCares SHIP certified Medicare counselors provide one-on-one informational sessions and schedule education and outreach presentations in the community.
Our counselors can help Medicare-eligible individuals understand their benefits, make informed decisions about health care options:

- GeorgiaCares SHIP services are free.
- GeorgiaCares SHIP is not affiliated with any insurance company.
- GeorgiaCares SHIP certified counselors do not sell or solicit any type of insurance.

- Apply for financial assistance programs to reduce Medicare out-of-pocket expenses
