Forensic Special Initiatives Unit

The Forensic Special Initiatives Unit (FSIU) supports local, state and federal agencies by identifying and addressing system gaps and developing process improvements to protect Georgia’s at-risk adults from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

We provide tools to primary and secondary responders to prevent future victimizations, prosecute offenders of at-risk adult abuse, and assist law enforcement with the resources to conduct investigations. This includes:
